The Sustainable Lifestyle Scholarship is designed for high school and university students who are interested in promoting sustainable living practices and encourage others to do the same. All you have to do is to demonstrate how your habits and behaviors promote sustainability, reduce waste, and conserve natural resources, as an individual and for your community!
The Challenge
Social Impact is one of Herbaland’s core values, affecting every decision we make! From creating vegan gummies, to sourcing from fair-trade suppliers, we’re dedicated to fostering sustainability, embracing inclusivity, and driving positive change for our communites and the planet.
We want to celebrate the sustainable efforts you’ve made as an individuall. for yourself and your community. The goal of this contest is to award and recognize those who have the passion and persistence to live a sustainable lifestyle.
The Challenge: Answer these questions either in written or video format.
(1) Describe 3 ways you live a sustainable lifestyle (2) Why is this is important to you (3) What social or environmental impact are you creating through these activities (statistics are appreciated!) (4) What is one sustainability goal you're working towards achieving in 2025? (5) What is your favourite Herbaland sustainability initiative?
Prizes
3 winners will be awarded $1,000 each

Competition Details
Final submission deadline is June 30.
Submission Format: Video or Written
Please note those who submit a video, will be awarded bonus points!
Eligibility: Participants must be a currently enrolled in a Canadian high school, undergraduate or graduate program.
Teams will be judged by a sustainability expert and Herbaland executives.
Email all video submissions to samar@herbaland.ca via dropbox or google drive, or submit a written submission on our application form.
