How do I compost my Herbaland pouch?

To compost our plant-based pouches, cut up the bag into small pieces and place it in your backyard compost bin or your community compost bin.

Make sure to check your city regulations before placing these pouches in your home green bin, since compostable plastics are relatively new to the market and the material is not yet accepted at many industrial composting facilities! Our pouches are able to be placed in home compost bins, bokashi bins, worm farms, community gardens.

How did we update our formula?

Herbaland’s updated Calcium Bears formula has the same bone-support supplements as the previous Calcum and D3 gummies for Kids, but with a new delicious Strawberry Banana flavor!

How do vitamin D and Calcium work together?

Vitamin D supports the absorption of calcium, which means that cacium supplements with vitamin D will be much more effective. Herbaland’s Calcium Bears Gummies contain 333 IU of vitamin D per gummy, ensuring these gummies will support the bone health of your growing kids.

How much Calcium do growing kids need?

The recommended daily allowance (RDA) for Calcium is 700mg for children 1-3 years, 1000mg for children 4-8 years, and 1300mg for children 9-13 years. As a supplement for your growing kids diet, Herbaland’s Calcium Bears contain 100mg of Calcium per gummy.

What foods are high in calcium?

Many foods are rich in calcium, not just cows milk products! Leafy veggies like broccoli, kale, bok choy, and collard greens are all high in calcium, along with figs and oranges. You can also find plant-based milk and other products that are fortified with calcium to further supplement your diet.
